California Art Club Exhibit:

Idyllic Impressions

The California Art Club pays tribute to its founding members and the California Impressionist movement they inspired. The organization's early artists influenced the first art movement to be defined as purely Californian, as they painted scenic vistas of the Golden State's natural beauty. Today's artists are employing the same classical techniques, as they create works that not only continue to showcase awe-inspiring landscapes, but also present thought-provoking images from daily life. Nearly 40 works are showcased including images of stunning coastal regions, expansive desert views and beloved spaces in the built environment.
